Cautiously optimistic

We moved Baby C’s crib (side rail removed, making it into a daybed) into Grand Master H’s room over the weekend.

Both children were so excited I wasn’t sure they would be able to sleep.

The first night was a tiny bit rough and we are still figuring some minor details out, but otherwise I feel like it is working well for all concerned.

I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to hear them chattering at night and again in the morning. Snuggled up together in H’s bed. It reminds me of Jem and Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird.

We will see what we will see.

As you can see, certain people are not feeling terribly cooperative about being photographed these days.
