Post Thanksgiving Funk

Confession: I have been in a funk since Thanksgiving.
I don’t know if I feel let down after the fact, or what.
This funk is why I have not been posting much lately.
I just don’t feel like I have all that much to say.
These were taken when we had a brief respite between gale-force winds last week.
Naturally, my children have no regard for the temperature. They don’t generally wear shoes and Baby C shuns clothes most of the time.

See?
This next one could have been our Christmas card, except certain people shun clothing.

I have a feeling she will be very popular in high school.
Between the hatred of clothing and the flair for drama, I suppose she will be an exotic dancer.
But classy, you know, like Flashdance? An artist, not just some pole dancer.

And then, suddenly, she is cold and demands clothes AND her Hello Kitty boots.

Archie was NOT feeling this one. No, I did not Photoshop that tongue on him. That is all Archie. She makes him crazy.

Isn’t he just the most gorgeous thing?

She loves him so much. I just wish she could love him from a distance.
She won’t, no matter how much I beg.
Meanwhile, I will keep trying to shake this funk.
