Picture Fall: Preparations

The prompt today was something in the kitchen that brings us joy. These green glasses were the very first thing I thought of.
My grandmother had a smaller version of these. When I would ask her for a drink of water, she would give me one these tiny glasses about half full of water.
As an adult it just seems hilarious that she would give me smallest drink possible. I was used to chugging a huge glass of cold water. Her version of a drink of water was light years away from what I considered thirst quenching.
Last Christmas, Mr. Smith got me these glasses.
I love them so much. I love the color, the design. I love seeing them lined up in the cupboard or on the counter.
They warm my heart.
So does Mr. Smith.
